The area has many interesting attractions to visit including the State’s tallest lighthouse.  Steel Pier includes a Ferris wheel and some amusement park rides.  There’s a Ripley’s Believe it or Not full of strange displays.  The popular Atlantic City Aquarium features eleven large aquatic tanks and various interactive exhibits.  Visitors can view tiger sharks, stingrays, seahorses, and handle some small sea creatures.  There is an African American Heritage Museum and History Museum featuring soldiers’ memorabilia and historic displays & artifacts.  The area provides many other activities & attractions like the Atlantic City Art Center, over a dozen golf courses, miniature golf, Paintball, Go-Cart racing, a saltwater taffy factory, parks, art galleries, ballet, symphony, and performing arts.

There is no shortage of fine dining in Atlantic City.  Some of the best world famous chefs operate restaurants here.   You’ll find some of the better restaurants located at the casino resorts.  Super popular restaurants in town include Dock’s Oyster House, Café 2825, Capriccio’s, Amada, Chef Vola’s, Buddakan, and Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse  You’ll find plenty of excellent seafood restaurants and steak houses in Atlantic City, including old school standards like Ruth’s Chris, Morton’s, McCormick & Schmick’s, and the Chart House.  There are some great all you can eat buffets in town as well as casual ethnic restaurants, delis and diners.
